The investors must not have a criminal record in Greece or their home countries.
The investors and dependents must comply with Greek laws and regulations throughout the period of residency.
The renewal application must be submitted before the current residence permit expires.
The following documents are typically required for renewal
- A completed renewal application form.
- Proof of continuous ownership of the investment (e.g., updated title deed, tax clearance certificate).
- Proof of medical insurance covering medical expenses in Greece.
- A valid passport (or the travel documents recognized by Greece) and a true copy of it

Unlike other residence programs, the Greece Golden Visa does not have a minimum stay requirement in Greece for renewal. However, demonstrating some level of residence or connection to Greece may be beneficial.
The renewal can also include the investor’s family members (spouse, children under 21, and parents of both the investor and the spouse), provided that the same conditions are met for them as well.
During the residence permit renewal, the applicant must provide again his biometric data (digital photographs and fingerprints), through the valid procedure.
