FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS

Greece Golden Visa program allows investors to secure a Greek residence permit by making a financial investment, including the bank deposit.

Bank Deposit

Investors may choose to make a deposit of minimum 400,000 EUR in a Greek Bank in Greece for a minimum of one year term with an automatic renewal order. It is possible to combine more than one-time deposits in different banks, to reach the minimum total amount and to achieve more safety for the capital. It is also possible to use the money of the term-deposit to switch to Golden Visa through real estate acquisition, for a minimum of the required purchase amount. As of the most recent updates, Greece Golden Visa program includes several other financial investment options, too, beyond real estate and bank deposits. Here are some of the key alternatives:

Government Bonds

Investing at least 500,000 EUR in Greek Government Bonds with a maturity of at least three years.

Company Investments

Contributing a minimum of 400,000 EUR in a Greek company, excluding portfolio investment companies and real estate investment companies. This can include acquiring shares during a capital increase or purchasing bonds listed on Greek regulated markets.

Real Estate Investment Companies

Investing at least 400,000 EUR in a real estate investment company that operates exclusively in Greece.

Investments Funds

A minimum investment of 400,000 EUR in a closed-end investment company or mutual fund aimed at investing in Greek companies, or purchasing units in a mutual fund that invests in shares, corporate bonds, or Greek government bonds.
These investment options provide diverse ways to qualify for the Greece Golden Visa, catering to different investor preferences and financial strategies. Each option has specific requirements and benefits, making it crucial for prospective investors to choose the most suitable one based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.
